-mass murder characteristics
-TARGETED attack

- at minimum, suspect's phone was pinging off the same cell tower as victims; sometimes close enough to automatically have is phone connect to wifi
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "ONLINE STALKING"

-12 x's, since J

u:likely, due to his "awkwardness", and or lack of people skills, he

likely did the majority of "stalking" or "surveillance" behavior

ONLINE; from a comfortable distance. Was not a part of their inner

circle. He studied them mostly by watching from afar. He is a

coveter. How do we begin to covet? We covet what we sees. IN

HIS MIND, he had some type of perceived or imagined

relationship(s) with one or more of his targets. Rich fantasy in in

inner self/inner mind. Introversion makes him even more of a

fantasist and engaging with that active/violent fantasy(ies).

Anger toward/against women. This seems to be a pervasive

pattern t/o his life. His anger toward women was born out. of a

sense of "not being good enough" for "them." In his mind he

draws important distinctions between "I" and "Them." 'Them"

being the other; the enemy, all the white sheep as he's the black

one. He, most importantly, became fixated on the fantasy of those

TARGETS he coveted; because he knew he could not have what he

coveted. The "closeness" between these roommates/friends

(namely Maddy and Kaylee) were both a literally, and figurative

boundary to him accessing, him having access to them. He felt he

could eliminate whatever boundaries, real or perceived, that stood

as a boundary or obstacle to access/interactions. By using a knife,

he could cross "that boundary" by having up close and intimate

physical attacks with his "targets."

----Someone comfortable with blood/blood being on him Blood

may or may not be part of what he wants to "experience." Blood is

the physical representation of "destroying what he cannot have."
---The crime itself is brazen. To enter a home, with potentially up

to 6 females residing inside, at 4am. This is a time frame in which

many of the 12 previously noted instances suspect was noted to be

in area. At 4am, it's likely, especially if he observed their behavior

the many times he drove around/near property, that he hoped to

gain the upper hand through the element of surprise, the girls

possily being under the influence of alcohol, and, he suspect likely

though everyone inside was sleeping.

ORANGIZED VS. DISORGANIZED?

-The Suspect is both Organized & Disorganized. Organized, in the

sense that he, basically, had years of education and planning

leading up to this crime. Origins traced, possible to DeSales

University with his thesis work/series of questions he asked

criminals on Reddit to complete and return to him. Organized in

that he brought murder weapon to crime, and removed it when he

left.

_________________________________________ -DISORGANIZED
Crime, crime scene, choice of weapon, make the crime itself

"sloppy." He left behind the knife sheath that he brought to scene.

Seemed "frenzied attack."
several of his former posts inferred that he was impotent.
-Killings done in 15 minutes. Very rushed, feral/in a fury/hurry.

This could explain why sheath was left behind in the first place.
Because he was in "such a state."
______________________________________________ -Schizoid Personify type in presentation -pre-meditation
-His driving does get him into trouble. One traffic ticket he

received was within a few weeks of the crime, and he was stopped,

near Moscow, do to erratic driving. He is a notably "punchy"

driver. He was stopped, the day after the murders, on WSU campus

for being in the middle of intersection when the light turned red.

made quite the impression, bc he wanted to know, specially, to

the letter, to the number, what law(s) he'd broken to this police

officer (who happens to be female).
-took odd, "seemingly" random home to PA after homicides
_he has many unaccounted for time gaps on his phone and phone pings. ____________________________________________ PERP BX CHANGES:

-AFTER: much more talkative and animated after murders
-oddly quiet, in contrast, when "this " case was mentioned in

classroom conversations.
-changed license plate on car 5 days after murder. Perhaps to

blend in better? He renewed his tags this same day; receiving

Washington plates; one in front, on in back, in addition to a

Washington State driver's license he got the same day.
-VERY ACTIVE on multiple, now confirmed, online forums,

engaging with others, on or about the crime. In particular, under

the handle "PAPPA ROGERS." An incel reference, to the hero

amongst all incels; Elliot Roger.
