PROFILING THE CASE OF MISSING KANSAS WOMEN/CHILD CUSTODY EXCHANGE "GONE WRONG"
PROFILING/Bx Analyst/ crime over-view and best leads to follow:
FACTUALLY known:
1. Veronica Butler, age 27, was traveling from Kansas, to Oklahoma, with Julian 39, a CP-approved Supervisor, so that Ms. Butler could pick up her children from the paternal father's mother; grandmother, Tifany Adams, 54.
2. Already a heightened risk for danger bc it involves child custody. More importantly, Veronica Butler, was supposed to be returning to court on April 17, 2024. At such time, it was anticipated that she would have either custody more often, or an excellent chance of obtaining more permanent custody of the children. This would heighten the emotions of both Mother, Grandma, and the father of these two children; Wrangler; age 26.
3. Wrangler has both a criminal and an addiction history. Most recently, he served a year and a half on domestic violence charges. The same day he was discharged from jail, he was transported, via court order, to a specific facility, scheduled in advance, time sensitive, to an impatient addiction center for an unknown length of time. This also automatically eliminates he potential participation in anything that happened to the missing women. His place/alibi is court mandated and he complied with it.
4. In passing, in having looked through the divorce proceedings between Veronica and Wrangler, there is an emerging theme. More than once, Grandma, Tifany Adams, threatened to shot her own child in the head if he did not do what she was asking him to do/when she was asking him to do it.
5. Grandma, Tifany Adams, through court records, clearly felt and expressed that neither Veronica, nor her son, Wrangler, were "fit parents." It seems Tifany had plans to keep custody of the kids; or at least, that was the desired outcome. Though with court coming up April 17, that custody arrangement could have changed. This would be a looming "threat"to Grandma.

SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN VS WHAT HAPPENED
1. The women never made it to their destination; which happened to be a abandoned gas station, in the middle of Nowhere, OK. Their car was found, on the side of the road, with doors open. Blood was found both inside, but namely, outside the car in "2 puddles." Foul play was suspected.
2. The women were stopped 3 miles short of their destination; Grandma's house.
3. Veronica was supposed to have her 2 children on a Supervised Visit for a couple days, and then was to return to court, along with grandma, to determine any custodial changes.

QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
1. Who/why approved the designated meet up spot for custody exchange? Typically the point of having an agreed upon place to meet up and switch custody, it is, typically, in a very public place, and during the day time. This being for everyone's safety. It is almost as though these ladies were lured/intercepted at the spot where the car was found abandoned.
2. MANY people would have the awareness, if they had nefarious business with these ladies, of exactly where they were going to "meet Up" (the location), and the time they were supposed to meet up. This is true of all of Veronica's family, Jullian's family, Grandmother, and anyone grandmother told.
3. Family history of domestic violence and drug charges. Applicable to both Wrangler, and his mother, whom I am referring to as "grandma."
4. blood found inside and outside of car with no signs of missing women
5. The extremely, extremely rural area in which they designated to "meet up" sticks out like a giant red flag. I wonder if there was a false sense of safety meeting up there for Veronica. In that very rural area, there are no cameras to be seen, it's mostly open farmland as far as the eye can see and abandoned buildings of former businesses
6. If Veronica weren't already at some risk, due to her more favorable position with the courts, to possibly regain custody of the children, this area itself automatically puts one "driving through" at potential risk of several things. This rural area, as mentioned, has no cameras, is a very high crime area in general, it is also high risk in that cartels and human trafficking infamously occur in this specific area due to its remoteness and lack of CCTV.

CONSIDERATIONS
1. Since story broke two weeks ago, 4 arrests have been made in relation to the believed murders. One is Grandma, Tifany Adams, 54, the person who DID the shooting (I suspect, based on previous threats to shoot her own son in the head), and her boyfriend, around the same age, and another couple were also arrested for their roles in the alleged murder of these two women.
2. Was DCFS/CPS careful ENOUGH? Would they flag this case, and it's moving parts, moving custody, as a more high risk exchange than normal?
3. This act had to be pre-meditated by grandma and then grandma conspired with the other three, in a pact, to take out these two women; a threat to her Grandmother custody rights she felt were infringed upon. Grandma would have been the only person in her "group" of ppl who were arrested, who would have known Veronica was coming in town, that she'd be picking up the kids, what time, and where to meet.
4. Grandmother could have left children at her house entirely, when this crime took place; so they would not see the trauma/be able to identify who committed crimes against their mother. Another part of the pre-meditation would be ensuring the children were safe at home.
5. Essentially, both women victims, were lured, intentionally, into an ambush, where the perpetrators seized on the the time, opportunity, and remoteness of location to their advantage; eliminating their competition or threat to Grandmother's child custody.
6. Who approved the drop off site and why? It goes against the whole point of having a "meet up" spot; to do it publicly, so there is less fear and or opportunity for anyone involved.
