   Tribalism is a group like-minded people, who feel justified in

their behavior. These groups seek individuals seek other 

individuals with similar values. The "group" gives its members 

a sense of belonging and purpose. The features of tribalism

appeals to a sense of violence. In tribalism specifically, there is an

IN GROUP and an OUT GROUP. The group has a mentality of 

WITH US or AGAINST US.

WHY WE HATE/CONSIDERATIONS:

1. examine each individual and how they "affiliate." What are 

these groups representing?

2. hate impacts the individuals and society as a whole

3. these groups are fueled by competition and the desire of the

individuals to feel "bigger than themselves."

4. important to evaluate how social media fuels tribalism

WHERE "US" vs "THEM" BECOMES DANGEROUS

________________________________________

1. When there is an "us" vs "them" mentality, a with us or against 

us mentality, anyone individual that is a perceived "other". or 

"outsider", and there is a clash of ideology, and entitlement,

this can immediately become dangerous.

2. Groups attempts to take away the individual rights of others,

their status away, or independence. Believe their rights and their

opinions are the right opinions; mob mentality complicates an

already complicated situation.

3. These groups also exist to promote fear, anxiety and

prejudice all of which make "the outsider" vulnerable to the 

potential violence of individuals or a group.

BENEFITS OF BEING A PART OF TRIBALISM


1. sharing of a common "culture"

2. tend to have one leader that gives orders]

3. loyalty and benefits of loyalty to the group

4. the group offers a sense of safety and security

WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF CRIMES INVOLVING TRIBALISM

1. 2 murdered mothers out of Kansas AMBUSHED by the 

sovereign citizen group, spearheaded by Tifani Adams, called 

"God's Misfits."

2. cults (any cult)

3. street gangs
