TWO TYPES OF AGGRESSION DEFINED
While not a "traditional" type of aggression, it is worth
mentioning that it is important to understand the causes of
aggression; which can be a result of different thought processes
for the individual.
An EMOTIONAL IMPULSE ACT, defined as aggression that occurs
with little forethought or intent and that is, primarily, determined
by impulsive actions. Emotional aggression is the result of
negative emotions as we reprieve ; as we aggress. Children
and adults, who struggle, in this area of their life, according
to trending research , has been correlated to negative life
outcomes. This behavior will likely repeat itself. Without
intervention.
1. INSTRUMENTAL AGGRESSION : aggression that is intentional
and planned. Cold. Calculating. Cunning. These individuals are
more than willing to "hurt someone" to get something in
the end (be it, ie, attention, money)
2. NON-PHYSICAL AGGRESSION: this can come in many forms,
such as: gossiping, spreading rumors, criticizing others,
behind their back, bullying, intentionally leaving someone out
of a "group", someone who likes to turn people against each
other. Additionally, these individuals tend to dismiss and or
disregard the opinion or feelings of others.
