PROFILE OF A FEMALE POISONER
PROFILE OF A FEMALE POISONER
_________________________________________________
While the majority of those who perpetrate crime are often male,
and their victims, likely to be female. However, in cases of
poisoning, if the victim is MALE, the perpetrator tends to be
FEMALE (in cases of poisoning).
In order for anyone to "pull off" a poisoning death, it requires
a lot of planning ahead of time. Obtaining the poison, selecting
the poison, means of poisoning others. These women tend to be
creative, sneaky, and cunning. The women may actually write
out their plan, like a play, that they later act out much like a
movie.
The strongest feelings evolved in persons who go on to poison,
is that of INADEQUECY. Often this is compensates for a scorn
toward authority; often accompanied by a fierce need for control.
These perpetrators also indulge in wish-fulfillment-fantasies
and often are self-centered. Typically, these woman gain control
by using ruses or manipulation.
Research suggests that these perpetrators are Developmentally
stunted and without empathy toward others. Typically, their
internal compass is guided by feelings of lust and or greed.
The perpetrator experiences a secondary gain in the feelings,
post-poisoning, post-death, when poison isn't initially detected;
they often revel in "not getting caught"/ not being "suspected".
For a short period of time this perpetrator feels a strong sense
of power, control, and even experience a feeling of "success."

MOTIVES
___________________________
Often times, there is either a financial benefit involved. These
perpetrators kill for money, (ie insurance money), jealousy
(often that springs from 'love triangles"); even jealousy. And,
up to 1/5 poison homicide cases will go unsolved.
These offenders, are quite good at being superficially charming
and putting on a great "poker face." Yet, these individuals are
often trying to present to the world that they are something they
are not. Behind their "mask", is a psyche propelled by childish
needs and wants; without any moral restraints.

WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 POISONS USED IN HOMICIDES?
___________________________________________
1. ARSENIC: Known in Roman times to poison rivals and emperors.
This poison was widely available in the 1800's. It is commonly
used in rat poison and weed killers. It has often been used in
domestic murders.
2. ATROPINE: (BELLADONNA): extracted from the berries of the
Night Shade bush. In small doses, there can be a hallucinogenic
effect. In larger doses, it's fatal. Many times this poison goes
undetected because its symptoms are easily mistaken for that
of someone with a low grade fever.
3.STRYCHNINE: extracted from roots of Nux Vomica tree. Used
largely as a type of rat poisoning. It is cited in few domestic
murders on the whole. However, due to its wide availability,
there is a suggestion, in research, that many undiscovered
domestic murders COULD have been committed this way.
4. CYANIDE: distilled from kernels of certain nuts. Sodium cyanide,
is noted in domestic murder over time. It has been used many
times in "attempted" mass murders throughout history as well.
Some poisoners prefer this method to use on their victims,
because it induces death within minutes of consumption.
Additional, is it tasteless, and the person being poisoned would
not be able to taste this if it were added into ingredients of a meal.
It is the FASTEST ACTING poison that exists. Death comes within
minutes of ingestion.
5. THALLIUM: discovers in 1860's and first used as a rat poison.
Has been widely used in mass assassination attempts. It is
water soluble, and tasteless. Due to the tasteless aspect of this
poison, it is easy to add to food ingredients and serve in large
qualities/quantities. Many times, this poison is NOT detected as
it may take days for symptoms to develop; making it much harder
trace the initial poisoning event.
