WEAPONS OF CHOICE and WHY CHOICE MATTERS
___________________________________
Intro:
The reason that a weapon is so important is it came show the
criminal's intention as well. Even if a crime is not actually carried
or completion or not, the weapon that they chose , and are caught with,
shows the kind of damage they were willing to inflict.

WEAPONS
1. HANDGUNS: a small class of fire arms that can be carried and
concealed. While designed for self-defense, they are also designed
to kill whomever is "defending themselves." If you are charged,
with using a handgun in a crime, you are being charged with a
crime of intent; or at least a willingness to murder someone. Due
to ability of handgun to kill, the prosecutor can make the argument
that there was criminal intent to kill themselves or others.
2. KNIVES/CUTTING INSTRUMENTS: while all are not equal
(knives), but, someone who has been stabbed could eventually
die without medical intervention. Being charged with having this
weapon, often shows intent to murder. Even so, they are not seen
as weapons of mass killings the way handguns are.
3. HANDS/FISTS/FEET: using your limbs to physically harm
another person aren't labeled as "weapons", though you can
assault with your body. Without the use of weapons, and merely
the body , it is much easier to maneuver in court in terms of intent.
4. HURT OBJECT: hammers, clubs, bats are examples of "hurt
objects." it applies to any solid, piercing weapons. Using these
"weapons of opportunity", does better allow for lawyers to argue
plausible deniability.
