THE MURDERS
Sean once claimed that his killing began because of "stress."
His first murder was that of an 82 year old woman. Gillis intended
to rape her, but became scared when she screamed when he
touched her. In order to stop her screams, Gillis sliced the
woman's throat, and continued to stab her. 50 times on the left
side of her body. Afterward, Gillis merely left her body at her
residence.
In 1999, Gillis began stalking a jogger, for approximately
three weeks. Around 5:30am. on May 30, 1999 he picked up
a 52 tear old. Two days later, the body was discovered. Gillis
confessed that he had hit her with his car; knocking her body
into the ditch.
The same year, Gillis killed his last victim; Donna Bennett,
43. The victim was mutilated post-mortem; in addition raped and strangled.
After his arrest, police found 95 digital evidence photos. He had
downloaded images to computer. Additionally, Gillis kept body
parts to "stimulate him" later when re-living the crime.
