THE PARAPHILIA'S and adverse effects on CUSTODIAL RIGHTS
THE PARAPHILIA'S and adverse effects on CUSTODIAL RIGHTS
___________________________________________
INTRODUCTION: In the United States, forensic interviews that
psycho/sexual in nature are focused on any childhood molestation,
rape, viewing, possessing, and distributing child pornography.
The determination of the presence or absence of a paraphilia
disorder is likely to have a significant impact in possible
sentencing recommendations for offenders (determining whether
the prisoner should or should not be eligible for parole). The
presence of a paraphilia is associated with increased rates of
recidivism. Clearly, the findings of paraphilia in a forensic
interview would ADVERSELY effect custody/custody rights.

WHAT ARE PARAPHILIAS?
The specific sexual disorders, as listed in the DSM V, were
selected for inclusion in the DSM itself because of their
noxiousness and family toxicity. Additionally, the existence
of paraphilias is correlated with the risk of harm to others;
thus classifying them as criminal defenses as well.
1. VOYERISTIC DISORDER: becoming sexually aroused by
watching unsuspecting person(s) engaged in sexual activity.
Voyeristic disorder not only encompasses these "peeping Tom's",
but is associated with stalking, increased urges to get "closer"
to their subject, as well as rich fantasies of what it would be
like to engage in such behavior.
2. EXHIBITIONISTIC DISORDER: act of exposing one's "intimate
parts", in either a semi-public, or public-place (ie, breasts
exposed, butt exposed)
3. FROTTERISM DISODER: act of touching, rubbing one's genitals
up against another person in a sexual manner without their
CONSENT. This kind of paraphilia in particular is one in which
the offender likely constantly engages in this behavior, and or,
is prone to repeating this behavior in general.
4. SADOMASOCISM DISORDER: deriving pleasure from repeatedly
inflicting physical pain, or deriving pleasure from a combination
of inflicting hurt upon others, as well as enjoying the
embarrassment/humiliation of another person sexually.
5. PEDOPHILIC DISORDER: re-occuring intense sexually
arousing thoughts that focus on fantasies, urges, and behavior
that is sexually focused on CHILDREN (typically 13 years or
younger). Pedophiles may be attracted to young boys,
young girls, or have no preference either way.
6. SEXUAL SADISM DISORDER: condition in which the
abuser experiences great arousal in the presence of inflicting
torture, pain, beatings, or any kind of suffering, that they inflict
upon another person.
7. FETISHISTIC DISORDER: re-occuring intense sexually
arousing fantasies, urges, toward an inanimate object. This can
range from anything to sucking feet to leaving hickeys.
8. TRANSVESTIC DISORDER: re-curret and intense sexual desire
when arousal is gain through cross-dressing. This arousal would
occur when the subject is cross-dressing, as well as having,
or acting on, sexual fantasies while cross-dressing.
