 RICHARD ALLEN'S PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT IN PRISON;

QUESTIONS AND OBSERVATIONS OF DEFENSE EXPERT IN COURT

QUESTIONS THAT REMAIN/OBSERVATIONS

1. Is the person oriented X 3? Who they are, where they are, etc.

Without knowing orientation X 3 clear, there is an incomplete

picture of presentation of symptoms without clarification.

2. During his audio/video, how much of his behavior is

intentional (this was a JUROR question).

3. Treating Physician dismissed the fact that Dr. Wala's dx,

was INDEED, in the DSM IV. Appeared to be tailored to the

defense.

4. MMPI cannot tell you anything retrospectively. They are

"in the moment questions". The Inkblot test would be a better

diagnostic tool.

5. If Defense Expert's conclusions are that "RA is being honest, "

then he is, by inference, honest in confessions. In the moments with

his wife, he knows where he is, where she is, and understands

what he is saying to his wife.

6. Well established history of depression and anxiety.

7. RA was NEVER declared INCOMPETENT, mentally, at any

point in time.

8. The day after receiving DISCOVERY, is the day his strange

behaviors began. (just an observation)

9. IF a Dr. says RA is a honest person, why would this strictly

exclude confessions?

10. Dependent Personality, in general, is not aggressive. UNLESS

there is perceived loss of abandonment or rejection. In which

case, they would lash out. SEPARATION and ABANDONMENT

are his two core issues.

11. Aggression/violence is a way to re-establish control

in relationships. Especially is one is feeling out of control.

12. Need to know about past abuse and traumas to know

the entire scope and all the variables. A person like RA,

what would cause his mental health to regress to the point

of violently acting out? What were his defense mechanisms?

13. Given presented behaviors of RA, would he not be a constant

potential danger to himself and or others? How aware, if at all,

was his family aware of in terms of his aggression as a personality

trait? If the family was aware, why would they promote him

owning a guns, and having weapons like knife collections

around his house? If as severe as presented, it would make

no sense for him to have access to any weapons due to diagnosis

and behaviors and constant instability.

14. RA admits that he skipped a family meal and work that day,

the day of the killings, and grabbing a six pack. Did he have

a drinking problem? History of alcoholism? Alcoholism and

anger make for a violent "cocktail."

15. Abuse begets abuse often times; intergenerational  traumas.

He reports childhood sexual abuse, it increases the likelihood of

that this person will go on to commit a sex abuse. Many

victims, in the same, NEVER become abusers.

16. RA was never on disability of any kind. If he was SO

psychotic, WHY would he NOT BE???????

17. Anxiety is at the base of all addiction. There is no such thing

in DSM IV, as "sex addiction." Anxiety is what drives behavior

and defense mechanisms/coping skills.

18. Poly-substance dependence is noted

19. RA had anxiety around sex, though he self soothed

through sex. In Dependent P/D , sex can equate to love

in its frequency. Perception of "connection" Confusing

INTENSITY WITH INTIMACY.

20. Obsessive intrusive thoughts. Such thoughts can lead

to increased fantasies and anxieties. Increasing the urge

the rid themselves of intrusive thoughts; by acting out,

violently.
