EVENTS THE DAY OF THE ATTACK

This stabbing took place on May 31, 2014 while playing a game

of "hide and seek" in David's Park. The victim was stabbed 19

times in the arms, legs, torso, with a knife that had a 5 inch

blade. During the attack, two vital organs, the liver and stomach,

had both sustained damage as well.

After the attack, the girls told the victim to lay down on her

back while they went for help. Which, they did not do; instead,

leaving the woods; telling no one. The victim, instead, dragged

herself to a nearby road, where, finally, five hours later, she

was found and emergency services were alerted and responded.

The perpetrators of this crime were found, a few hours after

the attack. When the perpetrators were located they were in

possession of a 6 inch bloody knife.

GEYER'S MENTAL STATE

Morgan Geyer disclosed feelings lifelong visual and auditory

hallucinations starting in early childhood. Hallucinations that

she interprets as "ghosts" and "imaginary friends." After her

arrest. her mother described her behavior as "psychotic."

Correctional Officers report that she repeatedly talked to self,

in addition to pretending to be certain "animals." On October

22nd, 2014, GEYER was diagnosed with early onset

shizophrenia.

Treating her diagnosis proved to be difficult and it has been

said that patient reported feeling erratic for up to 18 months

as doctors tried to determine her best course of treatment. In

December of 2018, GEYER began a consistent, long-term

anti-psychotic regimen. The staff reports that current medication

allows GEYER to reflect on her experiences/choices with a

better distinction between the real world and fantasy world.
